She has a special interest in relationship between cinema, psychonalysis and the creative process. She is editor of the “Cinema and Psychoanalysis” section on www.spiweb.it and Italian Consultant of Psychoanalytic Film Festival of London. She collaborates whit the journal "Eidos - cinema psyche e arti visive”. She has published several papers and co-edited La mente altrove. Cinema e sofferenza mentale (The Mind Elsewhere. Cinema and Mental Suffering - FrancoAngeli, 2006).

Abstract

Review of the book Arte e psicoanalisi: il respiro della creatività (Art and psychoanalysis: the breath of creativity - FrancoAngeli, 2017) edited by Graziano De Giorgio with the preface by Philippe Daverio. This book will be presented at the opening of the 2018 Lavarone Conference “The boundaries of psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis today: tradition and evolutions”.
This book offers to the reader the precious opportunity to get an idea of what the state is of today's debate on the relationships between art and psychoanalysis and, at the same time, to broaden the knowledge of the issues of greatest interest.
