Friedl Dicker-Brandeis was a pioneer of art therapy. She realized art workshops with therapeutic characteristics with Jewish children during World War II. Her writings, which are translated in Italian language in this article, demonstrate a strong theoretical awareness about the therapeutic potential of art and free creative expression. She had also a collaboration with the art therapist Edith Kramer, who was Brandeis’ student in 1930s.Downloads
